Kinghorn Thistle Golf Club is an independent Club, founded around 1880, which operates over Kinghorn Golf Course. The vast majority of members are also members of Kinghorn Golf Club.

The Thistle Club has full Fife Golfing Association and the Scottish Golfing Union membership. As such, members represent the Club in local competitions such as

 

Kinghorn Thistle has long standing links with Kinghorn Golf Club and Burntisland Golf Club, and matches continue to be played annually against each of these.

Club Competitions

Competitions are held most Saturdays throughout the summer season, with members able to compete in the Thistle and Kinghorn Golf Club competitions simultaneously.

Monthly Wednesday Medals are held throughout the summer.

There is also a scratch and handicap Club Championship as well as singles and foursomes matchplay competitions.

 

 

Membership

Fees for 2011/12  £30

Junior members are welcome at age 16, or on attaining a handicap of 12 or less. The fee for Juniors is TBD.
