The comments relate to the course played from the Medal Tees; it is somewhat less challenging from the Box Tees

 

               LOCAL RULES

1.

Out of bounds rule 27.1.

 

The boundaries of the course are defined by cut channels, walls, fences, white marker posts and lines.

 

a)  Beyond the line of white stakes at holes 1,13,14,16,17 & 18.

 

b)  To the left of the white stakes at holes 6 & 10, only when playing those holes

 

c)  Beyond the fence at holes 2, 4, 8, 13, 14, 17, & 18.

 

d)  Beyond the perimeter wall at holes 7, 11, 12, 14, 15,16 &18.

 

e)  On or beyond the pathway at the clubhouse.

2.

The 12th medal tee is in bounds when playing the 12th hole.

3.

The practice putting green is a wrong green, rule 25.3 applies.

4.

Walls are not considered an obstruction and the ball must be played as it lies, unless deemed unplayable, rule 13.1 applies.

5.

Immovable obstructions, rule 24.2.

 

a)  Fixed sprinkler heads and water point access covers.

 

b)  All steps leading into any bunker or onto any teeing area.

 

c)  The railway sleepers on the 5th fairway, and forming the edge of any bunker.

 

d)  All stiles.

 

e)  The wooden huts at holes 7 & 11.

 

f) All bells and associated poles.

 

g)  All advertising boards located on the teeing areas.

 

h)  The wooden fence to the right of the box tee at hole 18.

 

i)  All artificially surfaced roads and paths.

6.

Stones in bunkers are moveable obstructions, rule 24.1 applies.

7

For all play, including competitions, a player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance only.

Additional Local Rules may be necessary from time to time to account for any special or abnormal conditions.  These will be posted prominently on the Club notice boards.  It is each playesr’s responsibility to be familiar with all Local Rules currently in operation.
